Passing of Firefighter/Paramedic Tamara Pullin

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District reports the passing of one of our recently retired members Firefighter/Paramedic Tamara “Tammie” Pullin. Tammie has been battling numerous medical issues over the past few years. She has been a member of the Fire District for 15 years and was a resident of the Algonquin community for most of her life.

Firefighter/Paramedic Pullin served our residents out of station 2 for the majority of her career, and was highly respected by everyone that knew her. Tammie was a member of our Swift Water Rescue Team and served as a mentor for new firefighters, as well as a paramedic preceptor. She will be missed greatly. Please keep the Pullin Family, Krysh Family, Cities of Algonquin-Lake in the Hills, and the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District in your thoughts, as we mourn the loss of an outstanding firefighter/paramedic and a beloved member of the community.

Arrangements are pending and will be released shortly.
